Meet the Founder and President of Ken’s Tree Care
Ken Barber is the President of Ken’s Tree Care and has been providing Tree and Shrub Care services throughout the Metropolitan area for over 34 years. He founded Ken’s Tree Care while achieving his Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry in association with Syracuse University.
With his passion and love of trees, Ken turned a dream of owning a successful tree care business with state of the art equipment and exceptional service into a reality.
Ken holds Arborist Certification in New Jersey (NJ Tree Expert #270) and New York (NY Arborist #161A) along with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA Arborist #161). He is a Licensed Pesticide Applicator in New Jersey and New York and is a member of the New Jersey Nursery Landscape Professional Association.
Ken lives in Hillsdale, NJ with his wife Sharon and three children. As an outdoorsman, he enjoys cycling, mountain biking, and fly fishing. His favorite activity is skiing with his family at Hunter Mountain during the winter.
